Jute farmer of Siteshnagar village of Prithvinagar panchayat in Pakur district said, Jute cultivation has increased in this area in four-five years and this is due to the availability of water. He said that three quintals of crop can be produced in one bigha field and the rate for this is four to five thousand rupees per quintal.
