    Two more minor girls in Gaya raped in separate incidents; accused arrested

    GAYA(Bihar): Two more minor girl, one married in Gaya's Bela and BodhGaya raped in separate incidents here on December 4 and 17 and three accused in first case and one in other accused were arrested, said Officer in- charge Ravi Ranjana Kumari of Mahila police station here on Sunday.
    According to Officer in- charge first case took place at Bela, when 17- year- old girl Ritu Kumari ( name changed ) old girl was allegedly raped by three youths in Gaya's Bela on December 4, 2022, when she coming back her house after getting tuson classes. 
    While in other incident, occurred on Saturday when a 15- year- old married woman (Shanti Devi) was kidnapped by her own village person and raped here nearby bushes here on Saturday morning at around 11am when she had gone for natural call, added Officer- in- Charge. 
    After two rape cases were reported in a span of two weeks in Gaya, in separate places, All four accused in both the cases have been arrested,added Ravi Ranjana Kumari. 
    According to police, in the first case, a seventeen- year- old girl was allegedly raped by her village boys at Gurusahay Bigha within the limits of Bela police station in Gaya district on December 4,2022.
     
    A complaint was registered of the first csse on December 15, 2022 at the police station concerned by the her self of the rape victim, and all three youths namely Binay Kumar, Deepak Kumar and Mausam Kumar were arrested within a few hours. The men was later produced before a local court, police said.
    "On December 17, a rape allegation involving a woman, approximately 15 years old, was reported in the Gaya's Bajrawa village under Bodh Gaya police station of the district. On receiving the complaint, the police immediately registered a case against the accused person and took up the investigation and raided the accused house Dilip Manjhi and arrested him, said a statement issued by Mahila Officer in-charge, Ravi Ranjana. 
    The statement also said that legal steps, including a medical checkup of the survivor, were done and her investigation is going on.
