The wind of devotion in Shyama Mai temple on Kali Puja, the audience kept swinging till late night

BOKARO: A grand cultural programme was organized on the occasion of Kali Puja at Shyama Kali temple, run by the Maithili Kala Manch Kali Puja Trust located st Sector-2 of the Bokaro steel city.  

While on the one hand the ritualistic worship programme continued throughout the night, on the other hand, the famous artists of the city gave their tributes to Maa Kali with their performances on the stage.

In the cultural programme, Pt. Bachchan Ji Maharaj, Arun Pathak, Deepti Jha, Umesh Jha, Vishwanath Goswami, Hareknath Goswami, Dheeraj Tiwari, Sanjeev Majumdar, Milan Goswami, Shailesh, Shivcharan Goswami, Gungun Majumdar, Harshit Jha etc. enthralled the audience delighted with their presentations.

Umesh Jha started the programme with Mahakavi Vidyapati-composed Bhagwati Vandana Jai-Jai Bhairavi Asur Bhayauni...  After this Hareknath Goswami made the cage parrot Ram, Chandrakant Sharma forgive my lord, Sanjeev Majumdar played the Mohan Veena, Deepti Jha played the small road gadaiya ho Baba, Vara de Veenavadini, Milan Goswami did Maa Bhavani, Vishwanath Goswami, a resident of Kailash. Arun Pathak has mercy soon, O Kali kathi rhythm late kene chi, Oh Sharad Suhasini Jai Ambe, Maithili Nachari Baba Lene Chaliyo Humro Apna Nagri and Pt. Bachchanji Maharaj tied the knot with the beautiful presentation of Bhavani Dayani in Raag Bhairavi.

At the same time, Gungun Majumdar's Kathak dance was also well received by the audience.  On the tabla Pt. Bachchanji Maharaj, Dheeraj Tiwari, Harshit, Shivcharan Goswami and Shailesh and Vishwanath Goswami made beautiful accompaniment on the dholak. The audience was mesmerized till late in the night.

In same sequence, the rason-chowki of Shehnai playing by Bilat Ram and his co-stars also remained attractive.  On this occasion, Maithili Kala Manch Kalipuja Trust President Krishnachandra Jha, General Secretary Sunil Mohan Thakur, Pooja Coordinator Mihir Kumar Jha, Cultural Program Director Vijay Mishra Anju along with Jairam Jha, Laxman Jha, Inder Kumar Jha, Avinash Jha, Pradeep Jha, Bhushan Pathak,  Vivekanand Jha, Dr. UC Jha, Bhrigunandan Thakur, Chandan Jha, Harish Chandra Jha, Chanchal Kumar Jha, Rishi Jha, Govind Kumar Jha, Sonu, Pt. Govind Jha, P. Gauri Shankar Jha, P. Balshekhar Jha, P. Radheshyam  Jha Bau, Ravindra Jha, Jaiprakash Chowdhary, Sunil Kumar Chowdhary, Prakash Jha etc. were present.

On Tuesday, Maha Aarti, Mahabhog distribution and Mahaprasad distribution took place after worshiping Mahakali.  Whereas, on Wednesday, Maa Kali Pujan, Kunwari-Batuk food and cultural programs by local and invited artists and distribution of Mahaprasad will be organized in Sandhya Bela.
