    GAYA(Bihar): You will be astonished to know the reason behind the death of 6-year-old Vivek Kumar, a resident of Ubra village of Wazirganj block of the district, after being brutally thrashed here on Friday. Vivek, just six years old, was brutally killed by his teacher and teacher's wife in the room because he had eaten the fruit kept for worship.  
    Teacher Vikas Singh and his wife got so angry that they took them to a secluded room and beat them up mercilessly and not only that, but Vivek was also hit on his chest by thrashing him on the floor.  Vivek himself had told these things to his grandfather Rambalak Prasad before he died.

     

    Rambalak Prasad grandfather of Vivek said  that Vivek was brought home by an auto driver and a man to his village in a semi-conscious state.  He was lying on the road and his condition was critical. Sources said that he was first taken to the hospital with immediate effect.  While being taken to the hospital, when Vivek informed about the misdeeds of the teacher, Vikash Singh, the director of Little Leaders Public School, and his wife. Vivek has told that he had eaten a fruit after picking it up in the plate of worship.  For this he was brutally beaten up by his teacher. 

     

    Vivek has told that teacher Vikas Singh hit with both hands at the same time under the temple so hard that he reached there in a state of unconsciousness.  After this, Vikas Singh climbed up with a kick on the chest. SSP Harpreet Kaur said that Vikas Singh has been arrested and a murder case has been registered against both of them.
    He Local villagers said that Little Leaders School was opened only four years ago.  This is a residential school. While 15 to 20 children from different villages study in the hostel and they used to pay two and a half thousand rupees every month for the hostel fee. Vivek's grandmother said that she has to plan to move to school on Thursday to meet him with salty mathri, raisins for his grandson Vivek but now salty and crunchy are all waiting for him.
