    Observance of Vigilance Awareness Week 2022 at DVC, BokaroThermal

    BOKARO: Corruption is a malice, which is eating into the very ethos of our society and taking a heavy toll on our economy. People lose trust and belief in the administration due to Corruption. In pursuit of Government’s vision to make India a New India by the year 2022, the Central Vigilance Commission, an apex integrity institution of India, endeavors to promote integrity, transparency and accountability in public life.


    Vigilance Awareness week of DVC BokaroThermal is observed every year as a part of the multi pronged approach of the Commission, to encourage stakeholders to collectively participate in the prevention of and fight against Corruption. This is observed every year during the week in which the birthday of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel (31st October) falls. The Commission also aims to raise public awareness, regarding the existence causes and gravity of and the threat posed by the Commission.

    On the occasion of observance of Vigilance Awareness Week 2022, Satya Fidelity pledge ceremony was held inside the plant area here on Monday.  The oath was administered in Hindi and in English by the Principal Chief Engineer and Project Head, S. Sannigrahi.  The oath ceremony was followed by reading of messages from the President, Vice President, Prime Minister and CVC. 


    During the ceremony, all the Deputy Chief Engineers, Deputy General Managers (Administration), Deputy Commandants CISF, Superintending Engineers along with other senior officers, employees, CISF personnel of BTPS, DVC were present on the occasion. 


    During the Vigilance Awareness Week 2022 at DVC BTPS from 31/10/22 to 06/11/22 many programmes and activities have been scheduled from 01.04.2018.  

    The programme includes Essay and Speech Competition for school students on 03/11/22 at Carmel School BTPS and Inter School Drawing Competition on 06/11/22 at Station Club, BTPS.  

    On this occasion, awareness gram sabha will be organized in Kanjkiro Panchayat on 02/11/22.  Essay and Quiz Competition for DVC Employees has been scheduled on 01/11/22 and 04/11/22 respectively.  

    A seminar on the topic 'Corruption Free India - Developed India' will be organized on 05/11/22, while vendors meet also will take place on 07/11/22.
