    "Janata Darbar' organized on the orders of DM, many cases were executed in Gaya

    GAYA(Bihar): District Magistrate Gaya Dr. Thiagarajan SM, listening seriously to the case of about 350 persons who had come to the "Janta Darbar" directed the concerned officials to investigate the applications received at the earliest and provide the inquiry report.  

    In many cases of the applicants, the DM has also been given the responsibility to investigate the matter by the senior officers of the district such as Deputy Development Commissioner, Additional Collector, Sub- Divisional Officer, nominated district level officer of the concerned block, etc.

     

    In the Janta Darbar, the District Officer will ensure that the eligible persons get the benefit of the Prime Minister and Chief Minister Awas Yojana by checking the related applications to the Deputy Development Commissioner at the earliest, added district administration sources.

    In the Janata Darbar, many persons have given applications related to land disputes, mutual division, encroachment, land related problems etc. 


    In the light of all those applications, the District Officer, under the chairmanship of the concerned Circle Officer and the Station Officer and the Sub- Divisional Officer and the Sub- Divisional Police Officer, called the people of both the parties to the public court to be held on every Saturday at the police station level and sub- divisional level, giving priority to the related matters and instructed to solve it.

    In view of the excessive issue related to land in the Janata Darbar, the District Magistrate directed the Additional Collector Revenue to examine the applications received in a good manner and order the concerned officers to take appropriate action as per rules.

    In the Janata Darbar, many people applied for scrapping, people from Bela, Nagar, Bodhgaya, Fatehpur, Bathani, Amas, Sherghati and other areas, the District Officer, reprimanding the concerned circle officer, gave strict instructions that Execute the pending applications for scrappage expeditiously.


    In the hearing of the public court, under the disaster department, the District Disaster Officer has been instructed to get the compliance done expeditiously in the cases of fire, mass road accident, death due to heat wave, drowning in the well, death from corona etc.

    In the public court, the District Officer directed the Executive Engineer Electricity Officer to take further action after examining the applications received by the Electricity Department, including the electricity bill of the electricity department, adding electricity connection to the house and other matters.


    Many applicants of the city and Bodh Gaya had come in the Janata Darbar regarding the scrapping, on which the District Officer has instructed the Circle Officers to expeditiously execute the applications received in the circles for the scrapping.

    The person who came to Janta Darwar complained to the District Officer about the demand of illegal amount by the broker in lieu of compensation in the Welfare Department.  The district officer himself went to the Kalyan branch with the applicant. There, one employee was identified as to whom the illegal amount was demanded. 

     

    The DM gave clear instructions that in any case the middleman should not be visible in the entire collectorate campus, if any information is received from anywhere, then strict action will be taken against them after checking the involvement of the concerned personnel.  Along with this, he directed the welfare officer to ensure that the acceptance compensation is transferred to the beneficiary's account in time.
