    GAYA(Bihar): A heart- wrenching incident has come to light from Panchmah village under the Magra police station area, about 90 km from the district here on Saturday.    A case which shames humanity has come to the fore. Here people burnt alive by calling a woman a witch, after which the woman died. The incident is from a village Panchmah area of ​​Mogra police station area of ​​the district. Here on Saturday evening, the woman was burnt alive by sprinkling petrol in broad daylight. Villagers say that around 100 people attacked Hemanti Devi's house, said SSP Harpreet.   Sources said at that time Hemanti Devi was standing on the roof of her house. While the local villagers around 100 who first she was dragged down into the room and then strangled to death. Not only this, after that her body was set on fire after wrapping it with her clothes in the same room so due to this the woman was completely burnt.  Soon after getting an information of the incident local police and administration personnel reached the spot and took dead body in their possession and sent it for post-mortem. The police are proceeding to raid the village to arrest the accused and they succeeded to arrested 9 women meanwhile there is panic in the village and no body will be spared, said SSP.   DySP Manoj Ram said that raids have been started to arrest the accused. The reason behind killing Hemanti was actually the death of Parameshwar Bharti of the village a month ago.  While the family members of Parmeshwar Bharti had alleged that Hemanti Devi had eaten the exorcist virtuous Parmeshwar.  For this reason he died. But the villagers said that Parameshwara died due to some serious illness but the family members of of Parmeshwar were not ready to accept this. A month-long feud was going on between Hemanti Devi and Parameshwara over this matter, added sources.   But today a Panchayat was called on this issue on Saturday. Local representatives also participated in the panchayat. Not only this, Parmeshwar's family had also called an exorcist virtuous from Jharkhand. The villagers say that the magician had claimed that she would get Hemanti to confess that she had killed Parmeshwar with his Tantra Vidya.   The Panchayat started in the afternoon but the matter did not materialize in the Panchayat. Seeing the deteriorating atmosphere in the panchayat, the exorcist from Jharkhand fled.  After this, the people of Parameshwara's house and the people of the village attacked Hemanti Devi's house with a number of sticks in the number of 100 and burnt her to death.   The special thing is that when the villagers attacked, Hemanti's husband Arjun Das and his son Amit Kumar reached the Magra police station running four kilometers away from the village and reported the incident.  Taking the information of the incident lightly, the police of Magra police station reached Panchmah Gang with minor police force.    But seeing the police, they also attacked the police force so the police had to run away from there.  Once again with a heavy police force, the police reached the village under the leadership of DSP Manoj Ram. Meanwhile the attackers fled from the village.    At the same time, after receiving such a complaint, SSP Harpreet Kaur has said that after such a case came to the fore, she has given the responsibility of investigating it to the City SP.  The inquiry report has been demanded within 2 days. At present, the investigation report to be submitted within 2 days and action will be taken after that.
