    Illegal business of rail e-tickets busted, one arrested in Gaya's Vishnupad

    GAYA(Bihar): The Railway Police Force (RPF), Gaya has arrested the operator of a cyber cafe for doing illegal business of e-tickets using his personal user IDs.  

    One laptop and other items have been recovered from the accused. In the investigation of the computer of the accused, information has been received about making tickets worth Rs 84,006=79 through his personal IDs in the last few months. The accused were earning big money by taking more money on each ticket,said Principal Chief Security Commissioner S.C.Padhi. 

    Inspector in-charge of RPF Ajay Prakash  said that a complaint was received about illegal trading of e-tickets of the railways. The investigation was started on the orders of the Principal Chief Security Commissioner S.C.Padhi and Sr DSC,DDU Jetin B Raj. 

    A raid was conducted by the officials of RPF, Gaya at Sanjay Telecom near Surajkund under Vishnupad police station here on Monday and arrested Rahul Kumar Singh. On checking the laptop of the accused, kept in the shop illegally made 45 nos railway e ticket by personal user id under the guise of agent id, worth Rs 84,006.70 (11 nos of future travel, price Rs 12623.6  and travel  Confiscated on the spot the laptop used for making railway e-tickets along with 34 nos. Railway e-tickets valued at Rs.67978=00 
     

    A case has been registered at Railway Protection Force Post Gaya under the offense number 1343/2022 dated 10.10.2022 under Section 143 Railway Act.
