Gaya RPF arrests two persons on the charge of stealing two almirah, one chair and other items
GAYA(Bihar): Railway Protection Force (RPF), personnel attached to Gaya railway station arrested two persons on the charge of stealing two iron almirah, one chair belonging to RRI, railway and recovered all stealing items along with one auto and one motorcycle from their possession on Tuesday, said N.Manjhi Inspector in charge.
A communique from the RPF here gave the names of the accused as Akash Kumar son of Umesh Singh, belonging to Loco Colony and Pankaj Kumar son of Visundeo Prasad.Divisional Security Commissioner Jethin B. Raj of Palakkad Railway Division had ordered constitution of a special team led by Gaya RPF Inspector N Manjhi to check persons with suspicious activities on the premises.
When the team had put up surveillance at Gaya railway station, it got suspicion over one person who carrying two iron almirah and one chair while other person who follows the auto on motorcycle.
On inquiry, the team found that both of them stoled all items from RRI office, Gaya. The accused revealed that they had stolen the material from the RRI.Gaya.
Regarding the incident, on the written complaint given by A SI CB Pandey Crime Intelligence Branch Gaya, Railway RPF Gaya was registered under Section 3 Railway Property (Unlawful Possession) Act under Case No. 22/2022 dated 8.11.22 and the investigation of the matter was done by Sub-Inspector Poonam Kumari.
