Gaya: Kotwali police station's in-charge Kaushalendra Kumar suspended

GAYA(Bihar): Kaushalendra Kumar Akela, Officer in-charge of the city's Kotwali police station, has been suspended with immediate effect. Departmental action was going on in the matter of taking bribe from the city's bullion businessman Amit Kumar Sonar and brutally locking him in the room in the personal part, said SSP Gaya Harprit Kaur.
Sources said that matter was investigated at many levels and departmental inquiry was conducted and every angle was looked into and truth was found. After which SSP Harpreet Kaur suspended.
Its suspension has been confirmed by Gaya's Senior Superintendent of Police Harpreet Kaur.
Accusing the Kotwali police station In-charge of forcibly demanding bribe and assault, the wife met the SSP and gave information about the whole incident and pleaded for justice by giving an application.
After which the SSP had given the responsibility to the City SP to investigate the matter. This incident is of Dhanteras day this year.
