GAYA: Absconding accused of motorcycle loot arrested

GAYA(Bihar): In a major breakthrough, the BodhGaya police under led by  Inspector-in-Charge Rupesh Kumar caught the absconding accused Birendra Kumar alias Mutoor,  who was involved in a loot and other crime cases, near a Tekunaform in BodhGaya area on Monday.

According to reports, acting on a tip-off, the police raided the place and arrested Birendra, a resident of Turi area within  limits  of Magadh University police station in Gaya district.

Earlier, two other accused including the mastermind were arrested by the BodhGaya police.

While talking to "News Root" SSP Harpreet  Kaur said that a 19-year-old Birendra Kumar alias Mutoor  son of late of Ramdeo Yadav, who carried out the crime with their other colleagues criminal and was found absconding since the incident and case no 367/20 dated 13 September 20 had been registered under 394 of IPC has been trapped under BodhGaya police on October 17, 2022.They had looted two motorcycles, added SSP.
