    GAYA(Bihar): The festival of Diwali was celebrated with pomp in the capital on Monday. Fireworks burst, the whole city lit up with lights. This time, in a rare coincidence made after 499 years, the festival of Diwali is being celebrated with faith and enthusiasm.


    From nine in the morning to five in the evening, people bought flowers, garlands, diyas and other items in the markets. Then worshiped Maa Lakshmi in the auspicious time. Its fireworks and the process of congratulating each other started. Pandit Ashok Pathak told that Jupiter will remain in its own sign Pisces and Saturn will remain in its own sign Capricorn.
     
    On the other hand, the planet Venus will remain in Libra. This rare combination of three planets on Diwali was made in 1521 before 2022. In such a situation, after 499 years, this special coincidence is happening. On Diwali, Lakshmi Puja will be done in Vaidhriti Yoga. On Sunday evening, the whole city lit up with the lights of Deepawali as soon as the second day of DhanTes fell.

    Attractive lighting was done in homes, shops and offices across the city. Colorful fringes and kandils started spreading gleefully all around. The Chaudas festival was also celebrated with faith. There will be an eclipse on the next day of Lakshmi Puja.

    According to the date, Govardhan Puja will be held on 26 October. The Govardhan mountain is worshiped by making cow dung. The worship of livestock has special significance. Annakoot and Chappan Bhog are offered in homes and temples. It is also called sunshine.

    There was a crowd of people at the shops for the worship material of Diwali. People were seen shopping for lamps, Lakshmi-Ganesh idols, coconut incense sticks, incense and sweets. Along with this, brought in the worship material, also did the purchase of Jharua sweet. On the occasion of Diwali, special worship of Goddess Lakshmi is performed after Ganesha and Gauri worship.

     
    On Monday evening, after Lakshmi Puja in the establishments, the process of Diwali meeting will start. This is more than 150 years old tradition in Tower chowk. Even today, public representatives and dignitaries reach the establishments of traders here late at night. This process, which goes on after midnight, is visible till the streets in the new city.
