DM, Gaya holds Janata Darbar, assures prompt action on grievances

GAYA(Bihar): DM, Gaya Dr Tayagrajan SM listened to the grievances of the people in the Janata Darbar programme organised at conference hall on Friday. Large number of people came to the programme with their problems. On the orders of the DM, the grievances of all were entered in a register.

 

He said that all complaints received in the programme would be monitored and directed the officers to solve them.

DM Gaya, Dr. Thiagarajan SM, listening seriously to the case of about 60 persons who had come to the Janata Darbar, directed the concerned officials to get the applications received and the inquiry report available at the earliest.

 

In many cases of the applicants, the District Magistrate has also been given the responsibility to investigate the matter by the senior officers of the district such as Deputy Development Commissioner, Additional Collector, Sub-Divisional Officer, nominated district level officer of the concerned block, etc.

 

In the Janta Darbar, the District Officer will ensure that the eligible persons get the benefit of the Prime Minister and Chief Minister Awas Yojana by checking the related applications to the Deputy Development Commissioner at the earliest.

In the Janata Darbar, many persons have given applications related to land disputes, mutual division, encroachment, land related problems etc.  In the light of all those applications, the District Officer, under the chairmanship of the concerned Circle Officer and the Station Officer and the Sub-Divisional Officer and the Sub-Divisional Police Officer, called the people of both the parties to the public court to be held on every Saturday at the police station level and sub-divisional level, giving priority to the related matters.  instructed to solve it.

In view of the excessive issue related to land in the Janata Darbar, the District Magistrate directed the Additional Collector Revenue to examine the applications received in a good manner and order the concerned officers to take appropriate action as per rules.
