    CUSB organises seminar on Wealth Creating through Personal Finance

    GAYA(Bihar): With the aim to make the participants aware about the investment programmes and the intelligent investment the Department of Commerce and Business Studies of Central University of South Bihar (CUSB) organised a seminar through virtual mode. CUSB Public Relation Officer (PRO) Md. Mudassir Alam said that the webinar was organised on the topic “Wealth Creation Through Personnel Finance” in collaboration with Association of Mutual Funds in India. 

     

    Besides the faculty members and students of Dept. of Commerce and other departments of CUSB the webinar was attended by around 120 participants from different parts of the country.


    The webinar started with the welcoming of the main speakers, guests and participants by Dr. Rachana Vishwakarma, Assistant Professor, Commerce dept. Further, the guest of honour, Prof. Asha Ram Tripathi, Ex. Head & Dean, Department of Commerce, BHU, Varanasi in his address discussed the importance of savings and investment for creating a firm financial standing of individuals at large. Prof. Brajesh Kumar, Head & Dean, Dept. of Commerce, CUSB, discussed problems and misconceptions of personnel finance in general and reasons for reluctance shown by individuals while investing in primary & secondary markets at large. 


    He listed out the benefits of investing in stock markets to the audience in simple and concise form.

    Suryakant Sharma, as the resource person of the webinar highlighted various dimensions of investment to the audience like importance of investments, importance of investing at early age, common investments mistakes, vicious cycle of inflation, benefits of compound interest, basics of SIP (systematic investment plan), Mutual funds, stock market investment etc. in simple words. 


    The seminar concluded with question-answer sessions with participants which was moderated by Ms. Akshara, research scholar and vote of thanks was proposed by Dr. Pawas Kumar, Assistant Professor, Commerce Dept., CUSB.
