    Buddhism Spiritual leader Dalai Lama reached Bodhgaya today and his stay is in Tibetan temple

    GAYA(Bihar): His Holiness the Dalai Lama arrived in Bodh Gaya today to deliver religious discourses and take part in other spiritual speeches at the Kalchakra field in Bodh Gaya.


    The Tibetan spiritual leader reached Bodh Gaya by a chartered flight to deliver discourses at the Kalchakra maidan for three or five consecutive days from tomorrow.


    In view of his arrival, an alert has been issued at Gaya Airport regarding Corona and all foreign nationals will be compulsorily tested for Corona, as well as the administration has appealed to the people to wear masks,said Gaya's SSP Harpreet Kaur. 

     

    According to unofficial reports, over 50,000 or 1 lakh devotees from all across the world have converged at Bodh Gaya to hear His Holiness the Dalai Lama's teachings.


    On the one hand, Corona has wreaked havoc in China, while on the other hand, there is a stay of Buddhist Guru Dalai Lama in Bodhgaya, Bihar for about a month.  

     

    His Bodh Gaya tour has started from today and during his stay at Buddhism more than 1 lakh Buddhist devotees from India and abroad will gather, sources said.


     
    At the same time, in view of this, an alert regarding Corona has been done at Gaya Airport.

     

    While talking to Newsroot  two companies of BSP have already been deployed at BodhGaya. A large number of foreign Buddhist devotees is being arriving here.  By the way, these days Corona is wreaking havoc in China and some other countries included USA. In such a situation, a little carelessness can become the reason for the beginning of Corona in Bihar and the country.


    Sources said that three foreign corona positive patients were found at Gaya airport last November 22. However, following the corona guidelines at Gaya airport, all the three foreign passengers were returned. While all these three passengers were from Myanmar and had reached Gaya airport by flight.


    Gaya's civil surgeon Ranjan Singh said that a large number of Buddhist devotees from India and abroad are reaching Bodh Gaya.  Foreign devotees are coming to Bodh Gaya through the air route.  In such a situation, his corona investigation is being done at the airport itself.  


    Corona is tested with rapid antigen.  At the same time, after this, thermal screening is also used as a precaution. If a foreigner has fever, then his RTPCR test is done, at present there is no need for RTPCR test in a few months,added Civil Surgeon. 


    The Civil Surgeon said that in view of the arrival of a large number of devotees from the country and abroad, he appeals that people should use masks. So that the corona can be protected or spread can be stopped.  No new guideline has been received from the government. In such a situation, masks cannot be made mandatory, but people can definitely be appealed to use masks.
     


    Civil surgeon Ranjan Singh said that the corona investigation team which is working at the airport. The number of its members will be increased so that no stone is left unturned anywhere.

     

    The health department is cautious about the gathering of the Dalai Lama, the Buddhist guru, on his stay in Bodh Gaya. 


    However, till now no new guideline has come from the government. Right now flights are coming from only 4 countries.

    In this regard, Bangjit Shah, director of Gaya airport, told that now only flights from 4 countries are arriving at Gaya airport. All the foreign travelers who are reaching here, their corona investigation is going on continuously.  It has not been stopped since the Corona period till now.

    A team has been given by the State Government for Corona investigation, it investigates.  Corona investigation of all foreigners is being done.  Myanmar, Bhutan, Thailand and Vietnam are the countries where foreign travelers are reaching Gaya by air.


    It may be noted that Buddhist devotees from dozens of countries will gather at Bodh Gaya to participate in the teaching program of Buddhist leader Dalai Lama. Special alert is being taken regarding Vietnamese passengers.  

    According to the official information, the Buddhist devotees coming from other countries including Japan are reaching Delhi first by air and apart from this, some domestic flights arrive on a weekly basis and passengers are being screened for corona.
