Accused arrested for defrauding of Rs 51 from former JDU MLC in Gaya

GAYA: The accused of forgery from JDU former MLC Manorma Devi in Gaya of 51 lakhs has been arrested by the Rampur police here on Friday. The accused was arrested from the Kotwali police station area of Patna, where he was hiding, said SSP Ashish Bharti.
He had cheated the former MLC of 51 lakhs by forgery in a land case while an FIR was lodged by Manorama Devi in Rampur police station regarding same sequence. After which, during the investigation, the police raided Patna and arrested the accused namely Yogendra Kumar.
The FIR in this case was registered on November 6 at Rampur police station. Since then Rampur police was searching for the accused, said Inspector cum Officer in charge Ravi Kumar of Rampur police station, Gaya.
Meanwhile, after receiving a tip- off, the Gaya police team raided Patna and arrested the accused here on Friday. After the arrest, the police is engaged in further action.
In this regard, Gaya SSP Ashish Bharti told the MI, that Yogendra Kumar has been arrested and now further action is being taken by the Gaya police.
According to the information received, a person named Yogendra Kumar had committed fraud of 51 lakhs in a land case from Manorama Devi.
Police sources said that Yogendra Kumar is a resident of Pyari Chak village under Koch police station of Gaya district. The accused Yogendra Kumar had absconded since the swindle.
There was no reconnaissance of him in Gaya. Meanwhile, on the basis of the location found by the technical cell, the Gaya police raided within the limits of Kotwali police station area of Patna district and arrested the accused Yogendra Kumar.
Former MLC Manorama Devi lodged an FIR against Yogendra Kumar. Later, the said accused was absconding. Raids were being conducted at different locations for his arrest. Meanwhile, after getting the information, Yogendra Kumar was arrested from Kotwali police station area of Patna district. Now further action is being taken by the police Has been" -Ashish Kumar, SSP.
