    2 goons held with pistols near Gaya railway station

    GAYA(Bihar): GRP police arrested two people after country-made pistols and live cartridges were allegedly recovered from them in near Gaya railway station here on  Sunday early morning,said SRP, P.K.Mandal.

    SRP said the accused are Amit Kumar alias Takla (19), son of late Rajesh Paswan , a resident of inside of Bairagi, and Bitu Prasad (27 ) son of Santosh Prasad, a resident of new tola Karih within limits of Kotwali police,Gaya.

    Narrating about the incident, SRP P.K. Mandal talking to News Root English edition on Sunday afternoon said that the team of the GRP police station,Gaya acted on a tip off and team patrolling near Bairagi gumti to keep a tab on anti-social elements received secret information that two criminals carrying arms and ammunition were roaming on the way at railway line in Bairagi area.

    The police team reached near the spot, and caught the two. Cops claimed two local country-made pistol and two cartridges were recovered from both of them.

    SRP, P.K.Mandal said that all the records behind both the criminals are being looked to know how many criminal activities they have been involved in as well as what type of crime these two criminals are involved in around the railway station at night.  All the things that came here are being investigated,added SRP.
