“Haq Hamara Bhi Toh Hai- 75” a legal awareness and outreach awareness programme concluded
GAYA(Bihari): Under the direction of District and Sessions Judge Co- Chairman District Legal Services Authority Mr. Manoj Kumar Tiwari and under the supervision of Secretary Mrs. Anju Singh, the ongoing program "Haq Hamara Bhi To Hai @75" concluded here on Sunday.The programme, which has been organized from October 31 to November 13, to provide legal aid to the inmates of the jail and the children living in the child reform home.
While prisoner cards have been made available to all convicted and undertrial prisoners lodged in jail by the District Legal Services Authority. It is proud that on the basis of this information, DALSA will provide free lawyer to those prisoners who do not have a lawyer.
On the other hand, the programme Empowerment of Citizens through Legal Awareness and Outreach, being run at the Panchayat level, was duly concluded. It is worth mentioning that the role of the outreach team, Panel Lawyer, PLV, Anganwadi, Central University Law Students, Mukhiya, Sarpanch, public representatives in this campaign programme was commendable.In addition to the outreach team under the leadership of Secretary, District Legal Services Authority Gaya, social media, Facebook, YouTube, webinars, street plays, door to door campaigns, in which people are distributed handbills, leaflets, showing legal information videos to all panchayat citizens of the district.
Made aware of and once the entire population of the district was made public through the outreach team, in which mobile vans and digital platforms contributed significantly.
The 13-day programme was successfully coordinated by the staff of the District Legal Services Authority with the outreach team.On this occasion, the members of the outreach team of the District Legal Services Authority held a meeting, shared their experiences of the program and resolved to meet future challenges with double the enthusiasm.
