Rs 9.4 lakh loot in Gaya's Dobhi: Five included a woman arrested

 
GAYA(Bihar): Days after five men included a woman allegedly robbed an Huntarganj-based businessman of Rs 9.4 lakh at Manipar area under Dobhi police station in Gaya district, police arrested five accused on Sunday and recovered Rs 6.3 lakh from them. Police also recovered one Breza car, two motorcycles and four mobiles,said SSP Harpreet Kaur at press conference at her office chamber. 

 

According to police, on October 28, four unidentified men on motorcycle forcibly stopped a Breza car near Mannipar on Dobhi-Gaya NH-28 within limits in Dobhi police station. 

 

They then picked up a fight with the driver and bussinessman claiming as the two two miscrients engaged in heated argument, one of the accused managed to pick up a bag inside the car which contained Rs 9 lakh and 40 thousand cash, added SSP. 

 

While talking to the media persons SSP Harpreet Kaur said that the Gaya police team under led by City SP has arrested five criminals including the main culprit Pintu Kumar, involved in the 9 lakh forty thousand robbery case from a businessman on Dobhi-Gaya road (NH 83) of Gaya, while a woman is also included in the arrested criminals.

 

Police succeeded in arresting all five criminals involved in the robbery within just 24 hours of the crime from different  locations. 

Gaya's Senior Superintendent of Police Harpreet Kaur issued a press release on Sunday and informed the media that the culprits have been arrested along with four mobiles, one Brezza car, two motorcycles and about Rs.6 lakh 30 thousand in cash.


 
It was told that on the basis of secret information that the main kingpin involved in the robbery, Pintu Kumar was first arrested from Dobhi and on his target, Kaili Devi, Rahul Kumar Paswan from Madanpur Aurangabad and Nikhil Kumar from Ghanghari in Chatra and Devan Yadav alias  Devnandan Yadav was arrested from Dobhi Field, Dobhi District Gaya.

For determining the crime a police team constituted by the Senior Superintendent of Police, which was headed by the City Superintendent of Police and other police officers included in the team, including Sherghati Additional Superintendent of Police, K. Ramdas, Police Inspector Sherghati Ajit Kumar, Circle police Inspector Ajay  Kumar, station in-charge Dobhi Ranjan Kumar and others were involved.
