Gaya: Three held for loot, mobile, cash and silver coins recovered

 
GAYA: The district police on Wednesday arrested three persons who had allegedly looted cash and coins from a rice businessman and decamped on the outskirts of Gaya late in the night on December 2 and recovered cash, coins, 4 mobiles and other items from them. SSP Harpreet  Kaur said that the suspects arrested were identified as Rohit alias Bihari, a resident at Bhusunda area under Muffasil police station, Deepak Kumar, belonging to Kathhokar talab in Gaya and Jitesh Kumar, presently living at Janta colony within the limits of Delha police station. 

The city Dy SP said that criminals had looted Rs 20,000 in cash and several silver coins at gunpoint from a rice trader located in Kathokar Talab locality of the city's Kotwali police station area here on December 2 at 1am night. After the incident, the victim had filed an application in the police station pleading for justice.  The whole incident has been captured in the CCTV camera installed in the shop.  In this regard, the aggrieved rice businessman Nehal Kumar told that he has a rice shop in Kathokar Talab Gadi Khana Mohalla, he is also a wholesaler of rice.

Late night on Friday, he was getting the rice unloaded from the truck and getting it kept in the shop.  As soon as the shop was about to close, the armed criminals who were in number of 3 forcibly had entered the shop and beat him with pistol butt and looted 20 thousand rupees and coins and silver idol of God were kept in the galla.
